STUART J. CHAMPION DE CRESPIGNY CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Stuart became the Chief Executive Officer of PBE in April 2011 after completing the acquisition of PBE with private equity majority owners. PBE is now privately owned, principally by investors of Vierville Capital, which Stuart founded in 2009.
Previously, Stuart worked in investment banking for Macquarie in Sydney, Australia and London, United Kingdom, predominantly in principal investment and equity and debt capital raising.
Stuart holds a Master of Business Administration from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He also holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree with Honours and a Bachelor of Commerce Degree, majoring in accounting, from the University of Adelaide, Australia.
CHRISTA GLASSBURN CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Christa became the Chief Operating Officer of PBE in October 2011. With extensive experience in lean manufacturing and process engineering, Christa is focused on fully supporting PBE’s continued growth with industry leading global operations.
Christa holds a Master of Business Administration from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and is a certified Project Management professional. She also holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from Kettering University and a Master of Arts in Education from Stanford University’s School of Education.
Prior to joining PBE Christa worked for the Federal Bureau of Investigation specializing in business process re-engineering with Human Resource information systems and resource planning. Christa credits her years as a Manufacturing Engineer at General Motors Powertrain in Flint, Michigan for her knowledge and passion of manufacturing and operations.
PETER RYAN EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT – PBE GROUP AUSTRALIA
Peter joined PBE Group as part of the Rutherford Group acquisition in 2018. Located within the Rutherford facility in NSW, Australia, Peter’s current role is Executive Vice President and he is responsible for Australia Operations across the PBE Group.
Peter has worked in the mining industry for 32 years, the last 20 years being in Executive Management positions maintaining and establishing new businesses within the previous Rutherford Group.
CHRIS MEIDENBAUER VICE PRESIDENT – FINANCE
Chris Meidenbauer started with PBE Group in early 2015 and is now responsible for the global financial organisation with additional focus on M&A, business integration, taxation, auditing, company ERP and IT system management.
Prior to joining PBE, Chris held various senior finance managerial roles for general construction, financial data provision and non-profit organisations, most recently as Finance Manager at Electrolux Major Appliances NA. His experience within implementation of finance and reporting systems along with financial analysis has been fundamental to the successful acquisitions PBE have carried out.
Chris is a licensed CPA in the State of North Carolina and holds both a Master of Accountancy and Bachelor of Science in Accounting Degrees from the University of North Carolina in Charlotte, USA.
DR. WISAM FARJOW, PH.D, P.ENG. VICE PRESIDENT – ADVANCED TECHNOLOGIES
Wisam has been with PBE Group for over 10 years and focuses on new technology introduction throughout the world. Wisam has extensive experience in the design and management of complex engineering systems in the fields of underground mines and tunnels communication systems.
Wisam also holds the position of Adjunct Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Ryerson University in Toronto. Wisam is actively involved in researching advanced technologies and modern theories related to underground mines and tunnels. His work has resulted in developing a number of novel algorithms and approaches targeting safer mines and advanced communication systems.
Wisam has a Ph.D degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Ryerson University in Toronto. He is a member of the Ontario Society of Professional Engineers (OSPE), the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (IEEE), Project Management Institute (PMI), and is a Registered Professional Engineer in the province of Ontario, Canada (PEO).
ADAM GODSEY VICE PRESIDENT – ENGINEERING
Over the course of the last +10 years Adam has worked as the Engineering Administrative Lead, Engineering Manager and now serves as the Vice President of Engineering. In his current role, Adam resides in Tazewell, VA while managing a global team of product development and system’s design engineers all over the globe. In addition Adam has managed the development of PBE’s tracking system which has been installed in several coal mines in the US, as well as additional mines, tunnels and other industrial applications all over the globe. He has recently been heavily involved in the development of PBE’s Proximity Alert System (PAS) which is promoted globally.
Prior to joining PBE, Adam worked as both a sales representative and an electrical design engineer for a behavioural research company. These positions played an important role in developing his skills for considering product design both from an engineering and sales point of view. While working as an electrical design engineer, Adam developed a portable physiology platform (P3), an acoustic startle system along with other types of response and feedback instruments.
Adam holds a BSEE (Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering) degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech).
Dave Meyn Vice President - PBE Power
David joined PBE Group as part of the Rutherford Group acquisition in 2018. Located within the Tomago facility in Australia, David’s current role is Vice President – Power, he is responsible for power projects, products and services across PBE Group. David’s experience spans over 29 years in the mining and infrastructure sectors. During this time he has held both project and senior management roles.
David holds an Associate Diploma in Electrical Engineering and is also a trade qualified electrician.
Steve Petrosky Vice President – Sales
Steve joined PBE Group in early 2014 as the Vice President of Sales for the Americas, which includes Canada, United States, and Latin America. In 2016 he took on additional responsibility for the Asia Pacific region, including Australia. Steve now holds responsibility for PBE Group global sales.
Prior to joining PBE Steve's career spanned 20 years in the heavy industries, technical product field. He has held various executive level commercial leadership positions with complete P&L responsibilities. During Steve’s career he has lead teams in the assembling of international routes to market, acquisition implementations, and green fielding service and manufacturing centers.
Steve holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Akron.
Jason Stout Vice President – Corporate Development
Jason joined PBE Group as part of the Mine Radio Systems acquisition in 2014. Until 2017 he was responsible for sales and business development within the EMEA region. Located at the London office his current role is Vice President – Corporate Development. He is now responsible for commercial development programs, plus involvement with merger and acquisitions opportunities.
Prior to joining PBE Jason held senior management roles with the telecommunications sector primarily focused on sales. He has traveled and worked internationally for the whole of his career and brings a wealth of global experience to the Management Team.
Jason holds a BEng(honours) degree in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering from Nottingham Trent University.
